One of my favorite songs by Grouch - who’s latest album is pretty true to his style, but has a couple of songs that make my head bob and imagination jog. run. He’s a member of the Living Legends, west-coast based innovative hip-hop, check them out here .

this is a more soulful track of a ukrainian hip-hop group… i forget their name… BYMBOKC maybe?… the lyrics talk about imagining a happy ending for the strife of a relationship (in refined metaphors and statements). Granted the language is not going to be understood by many/most, but I personally appreciate the arrangement on the piano - it’s mindblowingly jazzy for a Euro R&B piece - without touching on minstrelsy and co-opting (thank you professor Drayton). I’d love to get the sheet music for this bad boy and perform it with english (different context) lyrics… Mamma Mila style…
